Mmm . . . a delicious spin on a classic. This is easy to make and will be thoroughly enjoyed by all. We love using honey to give the drink a more natural, full sweetness and the Lemon White Balsamic for the little peppy zing!
The tiniest splash of bourbon in this lemonade can only make this better . . . : )
Step 1 - In a saucepan, bring 4 cups water to a simmer along with honey and sugar. Stir until dissolved and remove from heat to cool.
Step 2 - In a large pitcher, stir together lemon juice, balsamic, remaining water and honey/water mixture together until well blended - can also blitz in the blender to combine faster and help sugar dissolve. Stir in cold water, ice cubes, and lemon slices. Taste and add extra sugar as desired. Chill in the fridge completely then top up with ice cubes before serving.
