Chunky Monkey Protein Pops

We're pretty proud of these! The idea behind them is the feeling you get when leaving the gym on a hot summer day. You're sweaty and the sun unwelcomingly hits you, you get into your hot car and go home, dreaming of air-conditioning. After a workout you deserve a little treat, and you need to get your protein in. So we've gone and satisfied everything you'd need: a cold, delicious, nutritious, protein-packed popsicle! We got you ; )

  • ½ cup chocolate banana peanut butter
  • 1 cup + 1 tbsp almond milk, divided
  • 1 scoops chocolate protein powder
  • 1 banana, mashed

Step 1 - In a blender, blend together all ingredients except peanut butter until smooth. Stir together 1 tbsp of almond milk and peanut butter to slightly thin the peanut butter out.

Step 2 - Pour peanut butter mixture into 6 popsicle molds, swirling the molds to try and coat the sides of the mold.

Step 3 - Freeze for 15 minutes or until firm, then pour in chocolate/banana mixture into molds, filling to top.

Step 4 - Insert wooden sticks and freeze for a further 3 hours until completely frozen. Run molds under warm water to loosen your pops.
